Centro Medico Cabarete, or CMC, is a private hospital that was built in 2009. It is located between Cabarete and Sosúa, on the Carretera Sosúa-Cabarete, Km. 1, a ~10-minute drive from Cabarete Palm Beach Condos. They have a fully equipped emergency room, Level 4 Intensive Care Unit (there are only two Level 4 ICUs on the North Coast), and a modern lab.
They are open for consultations Monday through Friday, 8 AM-12 PM, and then from 2 PM to 5 PM. The dermatologist is there on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5 PM to 7 PM. The emergency room is open 24/7, every day of the week. They accept credit cards and work with more than ten national insurance providers and more than twenty international ones. Clínica Brugal
CMC is a great local medical care option, but if you’re not satisfied with the care they provide, visit Clínica Brugal. Clínica Brugal is located in Puerto Plata, ~1 hour drive away from Cabarete Palm Beach Condos. It is one of the best hospitals in Puerto Plata. Their address is Calle José del Carmen Ariza, Puerto Plata and they are open seven days a week, 24/7.
