Cabarete Eats:

Mongolian Grill at Villa Taina

Consider your Wednesday night in Cabarete booked!

Cabarete Eats: Mongolian Grill Villa TainaCabarete Beach, while beautiful by day, is magical by night making. There are candle lit tables set up on the beach accompanied by live music playing to the crowd. So, even though our condos offer full on kitchens, it’s fun to go out and experience the ambiance of Cabarete. And you might want to save your appetite for hump day because every Wednesday our neighbor Villa Taina hosts Mongolian Night, a dinner special Cabarete locals love, and visitors shouldn’t miss! The barbeque style all-you-can-eat buffet includes dessert for 690rd (this price includes tax and tip!) and starts at 7:30.

What’s for Dinner?

Cabarete Eats: Mongolian Grill Villa TainaUnlike other all-you-can-eat style places that serve an arrangement of mediocre food, cooked earlier in the day growing soggy in hot plates, the meat and veggies at this buffet are top quality and freshly prepared right in front of you moments before you eat it.

How Mongolian Grill Works:

Choose an array of fresh veggies from our spread, pick from a selection of thinly sliced meat, bring it to the grill where our chefs will sizzle it all up with the sauce(s) of your choice right in front of your eyes!

The Details:

There is salad table with three or four kinds of salad. Usually something like: cabbage, caprese, and mixed greens. Served with toasted baguette on the side.

For your mixing pleasure, you can expect to see a big table of vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, zucchini, carrots, green and purple cabbage, white and red onions, green peppers, hot peppers, garlic, mushrooms, and eggplant.

Our grill wouldn’t be Mongolian without the thinly sliced meat and special sauces. Beef, chicken, or pork is available and feel free to mix it up and put all three on your plate if you want. The traditional Mongolian sauces are: peanut, soy, ginger, and coriander. As with the meats you can mix the sauces. Personally I like soy and ginger 😉 But hey, to each their own!

Dessert, too!

Cabarete Eats: Mongolian Grill Villa TainaThey say “dessert is the most important meal of the day.” After dinner, the dessert table will tempt you with coconut flan, key lime pie with graham cracker crust, panna cotta with a strawberry glaze, or a tropical fruit cocktail.

Those with Dietary preferences can be confident of enjoying a feast. Vegans and vegetarians love our dinner special because you can skip the meat and still make all kinds of combinations of dishes. Gluten-free people have nothing to fear since we offer rice or rice noodles with your Mongolian style supper

It’s a buffet so you can have seconds or thirds and we encourage it!

Try as many combinations as you can think of and let us know in the comments below what your perfect Mongolian Grill plate was.
