The Best Golfing near Cabarete, Dominican Republic

The north coast of the Dominican Republic is well known for its non-stop adventures and world class watersports conditions, but did you know we also have some of the most stunning golf courses? DR truly has it all! Cabarete is a rather small town, so we only room for mini golf. Fortunately, getting around our extended town is not a problem and with two gorgeous golf courses within an hours drive, you’ll be whacking golf balls before you can say fooouurrrr!

Playa Dorada Golf Course

Located only 45 minutes away in Puerto Plata, the Playa Dorada Golf Course is often described as one of the finest in the Dominican Republic. Designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1978, this 18 hole, 6730-yard, par 72 course provides a test for players of all levels. In addition to the well-kempt course surrounded by natural beauty, Playa Dorada Golf Course has a driving range, putting green, pro shop, lockers and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From May to October, 9 holes is $35 and 18 holes is $60. From November to April, 9 holes is $50 and 18 holes is $75.

Los Mangos Golf Course

Los Mangos Golf Course is a fun, family friendly 9-hole course situated amongst tropical fruit trees, thus the name Los Mangos. With elevated greens, this course offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. Only an hours drive away, just past Playa Dorada Course, Los Mangos makes for a fun day out with many amenities including a clubhouse, bar, restaurant, pro shop, driving range and a putting green.
