With little light pollution, you’ll be able to gaze upon constellations, satellites, and sometimes planets! Did you know the closest star is 4.2 light years away? Meaning it will take more than four years for the light to reach us! Here in Cabarete, we also get the most amazing full moons that light up the entire bay and occasionally you even get to see it rise from the horizon. Grab a Bite To Eat

Taking your loved one out for a romantic meal can often be a little harsh on your wallet. Luckily here in Cabarete, we have a vast range of reasonably priced beach side restaurants offering a wide variety of whatever your taste buds fancy. From Italian food to authentic Dominican cuisine, and obviously lots of fresh seafood, you can find it in Cabarete. Go to Town

A night out in Cabarete’s town is a whole lotta fun for couples. One of our favorites is dancing! With a mix of salsa, bachata, and good ole fashion booty shaking, you can choose how you want to woo your loved one. If you’re not feeling confident, you can take some salsa lessons to brush up on your skills before hitting the dance floor. If you’re still not so into dancing, there are several pool halls in town with Foosball tables, billiards, and cold beers, which always make for good times! Too competitive? Karaoke nights are great fun, and you can finally show off that hidden talent!

Full Moon/Sunset Horseback Riding

There’s nothing quite as romantic as riding through the mountains and streams of Cabarete on horseback. Just the two of you, only the sound of hooves in the sand and crashing waves. It will be a magical night to remember. Our favorite tours come from Rancho Luisa y Tommy and their facility is located just 30 minutes outside of town and despite it being our most expensive date night, it still only costs $60. The price includes an authentic Dominican dinner, transport and a stunning sunset thrown in for good measure.

This may sound a little dull but hear us out! Cooking together as a couple or spoiling your other half with a delicious home cooked meal is a one-way ticket to their heart. Being away from all the hustle and bustle of home life means you can really enjoy each other’s company with no distractions over a good meal and a glass of wine. Follow up dinner with a DVD from our extensive collection or slide open the patio doors and drift away with the rustling palms, crashing waves, and twinkling stars. It doesn’t get more romantic than that.
