Breakfast at the Serenade Restaurant at Villa Taina never disappoints. The $10 USD all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, pastries, yogurt, fruit juices and coffee you certainly won’t leave hungry. You can also request made-to-order omelettes, eggs (however you like them done) and crepes, which are the best in Cabarete (from the crepe connoisseur). Despite being a “help yourself” arrangement, the staff are always bringing out fresh food and on hand with a smile to help you with anything you may need.
Hours: 7:30am – 10:30am (serving breakfast, the restaurant is open until 11pm daily)
Located at the east end of town, offset from the beach and road, you’ll find yourself getting lost in the serenity of Claro Café located at Casa Blanca Hotel. Surrounded by greenery, the café offers a vast range of foods including vegan and vegetarian options. They are not only limited to breakfast, but also have a delicious lunchtime menu from delicious burgers, wraps, salads and much more. Their homemade quiche is a favorite of many, and Wednesdays it is on special with a glass of white wine included!

Vitamin D Cafe
Located at Agualina Kite resort and overlooking Kite Beach is Vitamin D Cafe, an extremely healthy restaurant serving a robust selection of raw, vegan, and vegetarian plates (although there are a few carnivore options to choose from, too). They don’t cook with salt, sugar, or hot oil and are also ENTIRELY gluten free. It is also known for having a very fast wifi connection.

Kite Club Café
Kite Club Café, known for their infamous fish tacos, also make a mean breakfast to help you get through the day! From fresh fruit to an impressively authentic English Breakfast, you will definitely enjoy eating breakfast to the sound of the waves and rustling palm trees on Kite Beach! PS – The breakfast wraps and hash browns are scrumptious too!

The Belgium Bakery, located on the roadside just before town next to Banco Popular have some of the best chocolate croissants in Cabarete! However, if chocolate and pastry is not what you are after, their breakfast menu has a wide variety from fruit bowls to omelettes. Dick’s Bakery, renowned for their fresh homemade bread, also have a delicious breakfast menu! With global breakfasts from the classic English, French, German and the local Dominican breakfast, they’ve got you covered. Not only that, they also serve cereal, omelettes, fresh fruit, juices, pastries and fresh coffee, all for a low price! Located close to the start of town on the roadside, Dicks Bakery is easy to find and you can sip your coffee watching the hustle and bustle of Cabarete Town!
